The main goal of the Languages without Borders – German program is to promote the learning of the German language, as well as to enable a broad, structural change in the teaching of foreign languages in Brazilian universities.
The LwB – German program is now in its pilot project phase, seeking to provide students opportunities of access to foreign universities where education is taught fully or partially in German. In this sense, the program will also impact the Brazilian universities, as the number of international students and professors on their campuses increase.
In 2017, UFSC will be participating in the pilot project, offering online and classroom courses, access to proficiency tests (on-SET-Deutsch), among other activities.
