The IsF reports that due to the low amount of enrollees for the courses, some classes will not open, please check your email.

From 18 to 25 June we will be registering for the 9 free English courses of the Languages Without Borders program. The inscription will be made EXCLUSIVELY in person in the secretariat of the NucLi – IsF which is located in the building of the Rectory 2, Ground floor, Room 4. The course will have a total duration of 16 hours/class with start date for 01 and 02 July and with end date for July 22nd and 25th, we’ll deliver a certificate. To register you need to be a student or server at UFSC, bring an official photo document and proof of proficiency for the desired course, the applicant may bring a TOEFL test or the MEO note.

The courses offered are: daily interactions in English A1; Oral Production: Academic interactions – English B1; English language reading Strategies A1; Oral Production: Academic interactions – English A2; Written production: A2 essay; Intercultural Communication B1; Oral Production: Academic interactions – English B1; Oral Production: Academic Communications B1; Development of oral skills and pronunciation of the English language B2. The IsF informs that due to the holiday of Thursday 20 June, will be closed until next Monday 24th, so you will not be able to receive candidates for in-person enrolment in English courses, we decided to accept the registrations by e-mail, the Applicant must send the e-mail to isf.ufsc@gmail.com with the subject  “inscription ” containing the following information: desired class, day and time, full name, CPF and a proof of proficiency (TOEFL or MEO).

Please be advised that on June 14 the NUCLI will remain closed, adhering to the national day of shutdown.

The remaining results of the 14/12/2018 test, which had presented correction problems, arrived today at the NUCLI, so that the participants will come to collect.

• Course reading and production of texts in Portuguese language (Tuesday and Thursday from 14h to 16h, pre-Intermediate level A2, duration 02/07/2019 to 22/07/2019).
• Course of aspects of the Brazilian language and culture (Tuesday and Thursday from 16h to 18h, basic level A1, duration 02/07/2019 to 22/07/2019)
