We inform you that the TOEFL – ITP test is suspended at UFSC due to the contingency of funds, and there is no forecast for return during the 2020 school year.
Languages without Borders
We inform you that the Languages without Borders sector will be in operation by the end of December, being closed throughout January 2020.

Registration open for the SPANISH course
Registration will be open from October 10th to 16th, 2019 for the free Intercultural Skills Course in Academic Context of Spanish Language offered by the UFSC Language Center (NucLi-IsF), accredited under the Languages Without Borders Program, with full duration. 16 hours / class, twice a week and in person. All undergraduate, graduate and active-enrollment students at the university may apply. Registration is made exclusively on the website www.isfaluno.mec.gov.br
Portuguese for Foreigners – Reading and Writing
The UFSC Language Center (NucLi – UFSC) offers the Portuguese as a foreign language program of the Languages Without Borders program for undergraduate and postgraduate foreign students linked to the university and immigrants living in Brazil without ties to UFSC. The course aims to present and develop the strategies of Reading and Text Production. The registration period starts on October 07 and ends on October 30.
Open enrollment for ENGLISH and SPANISH courses (Offer 8)
From September 02th to 19th the registration will be opened for the free English and Spanish courses offered by the language centers (NucLi-IsF) of federal universities, such as UFSC, accredited under the Languages without Frontiers program, with total duration 16 hours/class, two times a week. All undergraduate, postgraduate and active enrollment students can enroll at the university, who have a valid TOEFL result with a minimum score of 337 points or who have performed the leveling test by MEO (My English Online). Registration is made exclusively on the website http://isfaluno.mec.gov.br/
National mobilization against Education cuts
